NHALIS THE WEEPING SERPENT
Embodies Grief
A long serpent of saltwater and silver eyes.
Where it coils, rivers rise;
where it moves, valleys flood.
Nhalis drowns fields
but also carries seeds to distant soil.
Grief is both flood and renewal:
a sorrow that shapes new landscapes.
ORIGIN
When the first beauty faded, and the first death came, the loom wept salt. That salt gathered in pools, and from it coiled Nhalis, a serpent of tide and sorrow. He is the reminder that every pattern eventually unravels, every garden wilts. Yet wherever he moves, his tears water seeds, ensuring that grief is not only an ending, but also a fertile ground.
