ORIGIN

In the beginning, when threads crossed unfairly, when one line cut and another bore the burden, the Loom burned with imbalance. Out of its golden blaze leapt Justyra, a lioness carrying scales that swung to their own invisible measure. She does not come quickly; her stride is deliberate as sunrise. But when she roars, even the arrogant threads remember they belong to the whole.
